Circular bandaging method

Used for smaller or cylindrical parts of the limbs, such as the hands, feet, wrists, and forehead, and also for various bandages at the beginning. Roll the bandage up and hold it with your right hand. Unfold the bandage by about 8cm, fix the head of the bandage with your left thumb to the desired area, and continue to wrap the area in a circular shape with your right hand. The number of rolls depends on your needs, and fix the end of the bandage with a twisted cloth.
Spiral wrapping method
Used for areas with approximately equal circumference, such as the upper arm, fingers, etc. Starting from the far end, wrap two rolls in a circular shape and then spiral wrap them at a 30 ° angle towards the near end. Each roll overlaps the previous roll by 2/3, and the end is fixed with adhesive tape. When there is a lack of bandages or temporary fixation of splints in emergency treatment, the weekly bandages do not cover each other, known as the snake shaped bandaging method.
Spiral reverse wrapping method
For areas with unequal circumference, such as forearms, calves, thighs, etc., first perform a two week circular bandage, then perform a spiral bandage, and then use one hand's thumb to press the middle of the upper part of the coil, while the other hand folds the coil down from that point, covering 1/3 or 2/3 of the anterior circumference. Each fold must be neatly arranged in a straight line, but each fold should not
At the wound and bone protrusions.
"8" shaped wrapping method
Used for dressing and fixing clavicle fractures in joint areas such as shoulder, elbow, wrist, ankle, etc. Taking the elbow joint as an example, first wrap two rolls of the bandage in a circular manner in the middle of the joint. Wrap the bandage first above the joint, then through the flexion side to the lower part of the joint, pass through the back side of the limb to the flexion side of the limb, and then around the upper part of the joint. Repeat this process in an "8" shape, continuously wrapping the joint up and down, with each roll overlapping 2/3 of the previous roll. Finally, wrap two rolls of the bandage in a circular manner above the joint, and fix it with adhesive tape
Reverse bandaging method
Used for the top of the head, fingertips, and limb stumps, it is a series of left and right or front and back reverse bandages. After covering all the bandaged areas, a circular bandage is applied for two weeks.
