Hypoallergenic Paper Tape
Hypoallergenic Paper Tape is excellent for repeated applications on sensitive, fragile skin. It is strong, tangle-free, and easy to tear tape for ease of use. Its natural porosity allows the skin to breathe while leaves minimal residue upon removal. This tape is breathable, gentle, and hypoallergenic.
Designed to perform in the toughest conditions, it will last up to three days through multiple runs, daily showers, wetness, cold, or pools. With a patented adhesive, it will last as long as you use it, and (no offense) probably longer.
The fibers have a longer elastic core, which provides better support for muscles, joints, and tendons without restricting comfort and range of motion.
The elastic core is stronger, and it stretches much better over time than cotton kinesiology tape. This means it will provide stronger support whenever you need it, and even more. Just like top athletes, it relies on strength and endurance to get the job done.
Comfortable to wear in the shower, pool, or while riding the waves at the beach. Triathletes, swimmers, surfers, and sailors will love it. Synthetic microfibers dry quickly and have an excellent weight-to-strength ratio. These fibers are also naturally antimicrobial, allowing you to wear them comfortably for long periods of time without feeling intimidated.
Comes pre-cut and ready to use right out of the box. The pre-cut strips have rounded corners to help prevent corners from getting caught on objects or edges from fraying. Each roll contains 20 10-inch "I" strips. This is a 16.6-foot long, 2-inch wide tape for math athletes.
There's lots of different types of tape, ranging from the super rigid brown sports tape through to paper thin and colourful "K-tape". The common idea is to try to make an area more stable, or at least to give the area a bit more feedback and control. We used to think that tape holds an area in place, but what we know now is that the real effect is with position sense; helping you know where your joints and muscle are sitting.
I've seen plenty of physiotherapists advise to leave tape on for a couple of days, but I wouldn't recommend anything more than 6 hours. If you sweat into the tape then let it dry, it turns into a kind of smelly paper mache, and it will take a few layers of skin off when you try to remove it. If you're repeatedly taping for more than a few days make sure you wash your skin in between, let it dry thoroughly and check for any irritation.
