Kinesiology tape can be applied in different ways, depending on why it's needed. Your physical therapist can show you how to use the tape and cut the adhesive strips into the right configuration.

Applying Tape

Applying the tape: Gently apply the tape to the desired area, stretching it as per the specific technique you are using. It is critical to follow the specific taping pattern or technique recommended for your condition or goals.
Smoothing and rubbing the tape: Use your hands to smooth the tape onto your skin, starting in the center and working outward. Rub the tape to ensure it adheres securely to your skin.
