It consists of soft non-woven fabric covered with the strong absorbent capacity of the wound pad. Its non-woven elastic structure adapts to the contours of the body. A non-adhesive layer of the wound pad prevents it from sticking to the wound. It is mainly used as a primary dressing for sutured wounds, scrapes and minor cuts after surgery.

This hypoallergenic adhesive transparent film roll is non-sterile and comes on in various widths, just cut it to the desired length to protect skin or secure non-adhesive dressings as well as instruments, probes, catheter, measuring devices and tattoo aftercare.

What are the different types of bandages?

There are three main types of bandages:

Roller bandages: use these to support injured limbs, limit swelling, maintain pressure on wounds and hold dressings in place. They can be used particularly for ankles, knees, wrists or elbows.

Tubular bandages: use these to support injured joints and hold dressings on fingers or toes. You can use gauze tubular bandage to secure dressings on toes and fingers and is applied to the injury with a special applicator. You can use elasticated tubular bandages to support injured joints such as the elbow or knee.
